In the last couple of decades or so, technological advancements across various sectors like VR/AR, AI, Blockchain as well associated hardware and software advancements have ensured that the dream of Metaverse is for real. It is here and now. As a society, we also need to be mindful of the pitfalls that technologies have continued to inject, into generations of humanity. It is time our agency is in our control and no one else's. It's time for building a world with markers of culture and ethics as we collectively espouse the ultimate Metaverses of the future.

Profile

Ajit Padmanabh, Founder and CEO at Who VR was born in Bangalore and brought up in Delhi. He has absorbed a lot of culture and humanity through his life. He did his engineering from R.V. College of Engineering in Bangalore and went on to join Infosys – an organization he served for 18 years of his life. Having gained varied experience in India and abroad, working with reputed clients and markets, he wanted to do something on his own, for his country. Who VR is his soul-purpose – a VR/AR Startup based out of Bangalore on a mission to put India on the world stage in terms of tourism, arts and culture and expose the world to the richness and depth of our ancient architecture, ancient sciences & arts and metaphysics. He has formed a multi-dimensional team of Historians, Artists, Film-makers, Sound Engineers, Neuroscientists and Temple Architects apart from hard-core techies in VR/AR, AI and Blockchain to create immersive narratives of Indic History. He is also a self-taught guitarist and composer. Known as World Void Web, he creates symphonic rock instrumental music with spiritual-historical themes and has released 2 albums “Think Void” and “Voider Perspectives”, available on all music platforms.
