Ahana Gangopadhyay is a Sr. Data Scientist at GE HealthCare based in San Ramon, California. In her current role, she develops deep learning-based products and technologies for medical imaging applications to improve patient monitoring, diagnosis and workflow optimization in healthcare systems. Ahana completed her B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, India and her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, USA. Her dissertation work focused on developing energy-efficient machine learning algorithms inspired by computational principles in biological neural networks. With over 10 years of experience in machine learning and computer vision, she has published several peer-reviewed articles and serves as a reviewer for leading journals and conferences in her domain.
