Video analytics at scale: Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Spark

Live demo and lessons learned building a video analytics solution in the Azure Marketplace … in 2 months! It was intense, ultra challenging and fun, with many lessons learned and a live demo I’m going to share during the presentation. This is a deep technical dive into the technology and data science employed throughout, with all challenges encountered by combining Deep Learning and Computer Vision for object detection and tracking, the engineering and operational management efforts for scaling the video processing and insights extraction to large CPU and GPU Databricks clusters and the machine learning required to detect behavioral patterns, anomalies and scene similarities across processed video tracks.
