How Big SaaS Ecosystems Are Putting IT In Unchartered Territory When it Comes to Data Protection

Abstract

Enterprises are adopting popular cloud apps like Office 365, Salesforce and Box, which are quickly becoming cloud “anchor tenants” in enterprises, and in turn, have created robust APIs, which third-party apps integrate with to create useful business solutions. As a result, these apps' ecosystems have grown and thrived. In fact, Salesforce reports that half of its revenue is attributed to its APIs. But while enterprises are taking action to protect the proprietary data being shared and stored in these anchor tenant apps, the ecosystems often remain in the shadows (the average company has 28 Box, 20 Dropbox, 19 Google Apps and 26 Salesforce ecosystem apps) -- this presents as serious of a security risk to enterprises. Join Netskope VP of Products, Rajneesh Chopra, in this presentation to learn about Netskope’s latest research on cloud ecosystems and what they mean for your enterprise data.
