9:00AM - 12:00PM Intro to Deep Learning with Keras Workshop

Abstract:

This is an introductory workshop on Deep Learning with Keras. We start from shallow models: Linear Regression and Logistic Regression and show how they can be implemented with Keras. Then we show how to move to deeper models, how to use more complex architectures and layers.
The workshop explores common use cases and suggests next steps to apply Keras to solve your problems.

1:00PM - 1:40PM General Track: Deep Learning Fundamentals & How to Acquire them

Abstract:

Deep Learning has become the most sought-after skill by Data Scientists and Data Science teams. In 2017 we trained hundreds of people to effectively apply deep learning techniques in their organizations. We helped large engineering teams in Fortune30 companies, individual developers switching career, and startup teams seeking to quickly include deep learning in their data science stack. In this talk I will share the lessons we learned in this journey and help you figure out your next steps to acquiring deep learning skills.

1:40PM - 3:00PM Advanced Keras Workshop
3:30PM - 6:30PM Advanced Keras Workshop
You have been using Keras for Deep Learning models and are ready to bring your skills to the next level. In this workshop we will explore the use of pre-trained networks for image classification, transfer learning to adapt a pre-trained network to your use case, multi-GPU training, data augmentation, Keras callbacks and support for different kernels.
