Tentative abstract: Data Analytics is on the priority list of many business leaders today. Many leaders/companies have made significant investments in this area as well. However, are they enjoying the full ROI yet? How can they improve their top line or bottom line? Connecting analytics investments with business problems and realizing ROI is both an art and a science. In this discussion, we will touch upon a couple of B2C case studies that demonstrate how we can connect the dots between real business problems and analytics. We will also touch upon talent requirements in the analytics arena.


Ujjwal is the founder of Management Foresight, and a strategy and analytics leader specializing in revenue generation and building profitability through analytics/data-sciences driven operational excellence. Before Management Foresight, Ujjwal led BI and Analytics company-wide for Target Corporation globally. Prior to this, he has served in various leadership roles at companies like, Microsoft, and McKinsey, over and above a couple of startup stints. Ujjwal holds a PhD and Masters in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
