Veteran Consumer Packaged Goods Executive to Support Growth through Business Analytics, Marketing Research and Innovation; Brings More Than Two Decades of Experience Leading National and International Marketing Initiatives for Major Global Brands Ravi Parmeswar is an accomplished consumer marketing executive and a recognized expert in reviving brands by driving creative thinking, fostering innovation, and leading high performance teams. With earlier experience in engineering and product development, Ravi is currently Vice President leading Global Strategic Insights & Analytics, for Johnson & Johnson and has worked for other iconic brands such as Citigroup, Sara Lee, Coca Cola, Campbell Soup, and Kraft. In 2005 he was nominated to “Twenty-Five Visionaries” by Consumer Goods Technology – a list of executives who are making waves in the industry. At J&J, Ravi led the transformation of global consumer business through superior strategies & execution, and advanced analytics. Directly lead a team of over 120 professionals globally. He build world-class global Data Transformation & Analytical capabilities for J&J and responsible for data /Customer / Consumer strategies, Innovation, Insights, Marketing Analytics, Data Science, Business Information, Performance Management, and Revenue Growth Management Analytics to enhance growth. Ravi joined Citi in 2007 as Managing Director, Global Marketing & Customer Loyalty. In 2010 Ravi was named as Head of Global Customer Franchise Strategy. During the financial crisis, working with the CEO’s office, Ravi helped build and implement the new brand architecture relaunching the Citi brand globally. He also led the development and rollout of an innovative customer loyalty program globally and architected Citi 100 City strategy. Ravi was Vice President, Business Insights & Strategy for Sara Lee Corporation from 2006 to 2007, where he will lead the consumer, shopper and retailer research and insights groups. Prior to Sara Lee Ravi was with The Coca-Cola Company for seven years, where he led & helped craft Coca-Cola Knowledge & Insights function as vice president responsible for Corporate Insights and Analysis globally and line responsibilities for North America. With nearly two decades of marketing leadership experience from some of the world’s largest consumer packaged goods companies, Ravi's proven ability to grow businesses through innovation and research. Ravi has been a member of several boards such as The Advertising Research Foundation, the MMR Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, Neurofocus, Marketing Science Institute. He has published several papers and has received a patent.
