Virtualization and Machine Learning -why the combination is important to you

Machine learning is going through a period of rapid change and innovation. This talk will describe the benefits of virtualizing your machine learning environments to help with dealing with that change. Technical aspects such as support for one or more GPUs by an ML process, as well as performance measurements, will be described. The choices offered by virtualization platforms in this area will be highlighted. An example third party ML product will be shown working on the virtualization platform and the underlying GPU setup explored. The talk will enable the attendee to make good choices about the infrastructure for machine learning that they choose to implement.
