Anthropic’s revenue growth is not only reaching historic levels—it is accelerating rapidly.

 

The AI model maker’s annualized revenue run rate surpassed $65 billion at the end of July, according to Bloomberg. That represents a sharp increase from $47 billion in May and just $9 billion at the end of 2025.

 

Investors expect this momentum to continue, with Anthropic projected to finish 2026 with an annualized revenue run rate of $100 billion–$120 billion, according to the Financial Times.

 

Meanwhile, rival OpenAI has doubled its revenue to $40 billion, up from $20 billion at the end of 2025. While the two companies may calculate revenue differently, Anthropic’s pace of growth has attracted significant investor attention.
