Apple is reportedly developing three new AI-powered wearable devices. Posted on : Feb 18 - 2026
In late January, The Information reported that Apple was developing an AI wearable—an AirTag-sized pendant equipped with cameras that could clip onto a user’s shirt. Now, Bloomberg says work on that device, along with two other AI-driven products, is ramping up as Apple aims to keep pace with rival tech giants racing to launch comparable gadgets.

Beyond the AI pin, Apple is reportedly accelerating development of its AI-powered smart glasses, code-named N50. The company faces stiff competition in this category, with players like Meta—arguably the current leader in smart glasses—and Snap, which plans to debut its “Specs” later this year, pursuing similar hardware.

Apple’s smart glasses, said to feature a high-resolution camera, could arrive sooner than expected. Bloomberg reports that Apple is “targeting the start of production as early as December,” paving the way for a potential public launch in 2027.

The report also notes that Apple is developing new AirPods with enhanced AI capabilities.

All of the devices are expected to integrate with the iPhone and rely heavily on Siri, Apple’s virtual assistant, as a core part of the user experience. The smart glasses, however, are described as more premium and feature-rich than both the AirPods and the AI pendant. TechCrunch has contacted Apple for additional details.
