The insurance industry has seen a tremendous influx of AI and Big Data in recent years. While these influences have created great efficiencies and opportunities in insurance, they have also created tremendous friction with incumbents and regulators. This session will address the business and regulatory issues created by the influence of AI and Big Data in insurance and explore how those and other issues will play out in the future.
 

Eric Biderman is a Counsel in the Insurance and Reinsurance Practice Group of the law firm Arent Fox LLP. He has over 13 years of experience advising clients on various legal issues related to insurance regulatory, transactional and litigation matters, as well cybersecurity compliance matters. Eric is also active in the insurtech space, serving as mentor for the Hartford Insurtech Hub Accelerator, the Global Insurance Accelerator and the Plug and Play Insurtech Accelerator. In addition, Eric frequently speaks on the topics of regulatory and cybersecurity compliance for insurtechs and AI solution providers.
