Praneeth Kamalaksha Patil is a Senior Software Engineer at CoreWeave, where he builds the infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) layer of its AI cloud, with a focus on storage for large-scale GPU workloads. He has more than 13 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and distributed systems. Before CoreWeave, he was a Senior Staff Engineer at Equinix, where he built a global AI network spanning more than 80 metros and connecting AWS, Google Cloud and Azure, and shipped a production MCP servers and agents. Earlier roles include Ripple, IBM Cloud and Juniper Networks. His research on time-to-first-token as a property of the network fabric is under review, and he contributes to the Workflows and Process Integration working group at the Agentic AI Foundation (Linux Foundation). He holds an M.S. in Computer Engineering from San José State University.
