Dr. Luyuan Fang is VP, Head of AI Labs at Expedia Group (EG). She is leading the newly established AI Labs, building EG AI platform and AI travel solutions. Prior to joining Expedia Group in 2017, Luyuan worked at various companies in AI research, Networking, and Cloud, including eBay, Microsoft Azure, Cisco, AT&T Labs, and Telstra Research Labs. Luyuan is a mover and a doer in the computing and networking industry. She has delivered several industry 1st innovations and large-scale deployments that enabled fast revenue growth, and long-lasting operation success. Luyuan holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Neural Networks design. She has over 100 publications, 19 IETF RFCs, and 7 US Patents granted.
