Accelerating the last mile from big data to human discovery

Data analysis has a last mile problem. Human domain experts have countless questions about their data, and only two inefficient options for getting answers: 1) to ask another human, a data specialist, for manual assistance, or 2) to rely on dashboard software to provide a pivot table or visualization that adequately answers their question. In this talk I will discuss how better software design can provide domain-native user experiences and accelerate extraction of value from data.
