Profile

Sam De Brouwer is cofounder and COO at doc.ai, a blockchain based AI platform that performs deep learning on quantified biology to develop personalized health insights as well as predictive models. The company successfully closed a token sale securities offer in October 2017. The Neuron network will go live Spring 2018 along with the first public release of the doc.ai app. The $NRN token will be used by research sponsors to initiate data trials, for users to be compensated, for data scientists to be rewarded for their models. Before that Sam cofounded Scanadu Inc. in 2011 and served as its VP of communications until April 2016, a venture backed company developing consumer facing mobile medical devices with as first commercial product, CE marked and FDA pending a 1 minute urine test using a smart phone, machine learning and the cloud. Prior moving into health and medical Sam started her entrepreneurial career in the nineties in Europe with the Starlab research lab a collaboration with the MIT MediaLab. She started one of the first employment websites for Benelux, Jobscape, which merged with eight similar sites to make up Stepstone, and went public on the London Stock Exchange. Sam is an angel investor and a mentor to early stage entrepreneurs.
