How is artificial intelligence disrupting commerce?

Abstract

There are over 5 billion unique products sold worldwide with over 30,000 new products introduced every month. From product design, to manufacturing, to merchandising, to supply chain, to delivery, all the blocks in commerce are getting dismantled and rebuilt with the help of machine learning and deep learning. How are brands and retailers leveraging algorithms and data to win in this changing landscape? Where will it all lead to? Which problems need to be solved in order to realize autonomous commerce? I will share our learning from building an applied AI startup with our vision for self driving commerce.
