Matthew Tovbin is a Software Architect at Salesforce, engineering Salesforce Einstein AI Platform, which powers the world’s smartest CRM. He is a co-author of TransmogrifAI (https://transmogrif.ai), an open-source AutoML library for structured data on Apache Spark. Before joining Salesforce, he acted as a Director of Engineering at Badgeville, implementing scalable and highly available real-time event processing services with Scala. In addition, Matthew is a co-organizer of Scala Bay meetup (http://www.scalabay.com/) and an active member in numerous functional programming groups. Matthew lives in SF Bay area with his wife and kid, enjoys photography, hiking, good whisky and PC gaming.
