Building and Automating the Network Infrastructure for a Scalable Datacenter

Datacenters today need to be able to cope with the big data needs of the modern day company. They need to be able to scale easily as more capacity is needed. They also need to be reliable and optimized for high bandwidth, low latency network traffic. Tochi will talk about how Square is doing this with its newly built datacenters, and how they built software tools to simplify the network infrastructure build out and management in their dcs.

Tochi is a software engineer on the Network Engineering team at Square Inc. His current work focuses on building network automation systems for Square's datacenter infrastructure. He has experience building scalable distributed continuous integration systems that leverage the cloud and he has also designed and built large scale configuration management systems.
