• Sinan Akkaya is senior leader in high tech industry with over 20 years of successful technology management experience specialized in telecommunications, wireless/mobile and IT. He is an expert in access technologies, capital investment planning, operational spending/cost control, budgeting/forecasting, organizational transformation, network design, optimization, infrastructure build-out and operations. He has global experience with wide range of telecom carriers, telecom equipment manufacturers and large enterprises.
Sinan is currently the Director of Radio Access Network Engineering in AT&T and lives in the BAY Area. Under his leadership, he drove end-to-end RAN design and deployment to meet coverage, capacity and performance needs of AT&T’s mobile network supporting industry leading data and voice services, he also has been actively taking role in trials and implementation of 5G, MEC, SDN\NFV and AI based network applications.
