3 Reasons The Video Game Industry Is Bound For The Blockchain Posted on : Jul 16 - 2018

As a millennial gamer, I am always looking for the next console and video game to get my thumbs on. But, my issue is that there are so many gaming systems out there with what seems like an unlimited number of games, but no efficient or easy way for me to search for the kinds of games I may be interested in. So, I did some digging into how blockchain technology could be applied to this market. Keeping in mind the nationwide success of the industry, there’s still no question that the gaming industry is fragmented in the 21st century.

Why? Because, there's been no rhyme or reason to really pay much attention to it. Most consumers stick to either the most popular game of their chosen console or ones the they are most comfortable playing. But, what's to be said about those games that go unsold and unplayed? Developers spend their careers trying to make a name for themselves in the industry, wanting to be recognized for their work. But, if the average gamer can’t identify them by name or work, this becomes a disservice and hindrance to both the intellectual property and the industry as a whole. View More
