Machine Learning in Predictive Maintenance

The impact of unscheduled equipment downtime can be detrimental for any business. Predictive maintenance is designed to help determine the condition of in-service equipment to predict when maintenance is needed to prevent downtime. In this talk, I will give an overview of the machine learning techniques used for predictive maintenance, mainly focusing on time series sensor data. Traditional classification and regression approaches together with deep learning methods will be covered in this talk, along with real world examples.
