Johnson & Johnson has developed an enterprise wide strategy to use advanced techniques like Machine Learning and NLP to deliver greater value to patients, providers and customers across all areas of business and functions.
 

Profile

Stuart M. McGuigan, Vice President and Chief Information Officer, has global responsibility for Information Technology strategy and operations at Johnson & Johnson, the world’s largest and most broadly based healthcare company. Working closely with business leadership, he is responsible for accelerating the pace of technology innovation for enabling patients, providers and consumers; delivering key business improvement programs; and driving overall IT effectiveness. 

Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Stuart was Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President for CVS Caremark, the largest pharmacy healthcare provider in the United States. In that role, Stuart was responsible for the company’s Information Systems and Technology Operations. Before joining CVS Caremark, Stuart held senior leadership roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance Group and Medco Health Solutions. 

Stuart has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Fairfield University and earned Master of Science and Master of Philosophy degrees in the Cognitive Science program at Yale University.
