Abstract

Online retailers like Amazon are constantly updating their site and shopping experience across a wide range of criteria, presenting a unique challenge to brands looking to test, measure, and optimize their product pages. This session will provide attendees with a deep dive on a recent research project that acted as a breakthrough to these challenges. Particular attention will be paid to the experiment design of comparing head-to-head products, searching for signal through a variety of data sources, different models, and overall results.

As Salsify’s Director of Analytics and Data Science, Josh Silverman oversees Salsify’s team of data analysts and the strategic direction of the company’s in-app analytics features built for its brand manufacturer customer base. Prior to his time at Salsify, Josh has held analytics-oriented positions at Crisply and Zipcar, and is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania and Brandeis University.
