He developed pg_bulkload which is a enhance bulk load utility for PostgreSQL, and engaged a large size database migration from Oracle Database to PostgreSQL. He is now mainly responsible for introducing Hadoop and other OSS middlewares to enterprise systems. He is an author of one of the most famous Hadoop and Sparkintroduction guidebook in Japan.
